Creating Success Belief Patterns Using Affirmations

The very action of repeating affirmations to our subconscious minds is one of the most effective ways through which we are able to achieve our set goals voluntarily. When impulses are sent to the subconscious mind repeatedly they will in time be acted upon and i.e. after they are accepted into the subconscious. When these affirmations are acted upon they are transformed from being mere impulses to the physical actions that are required in the achievement of the specific goals for which they are addressed.

Positive Affirmations Need Time

Positive thought affirmations cannot be expected to work immediately especially if you are realizing the benefits of using them for the first time. For most people, the subconscious mind is abundant with negative sentiments and this can be proven by the volume of negative self-speak that runs through their minds daily.

The presence of these negative sentiments is largely the result of the manner in which we were brought up. Growing up, many people were repeatedly told that they could not be successful in a given area simply because those responsible for them did not achieve success in that area. The result is that many people get into adulthood having given up on some of their goals even before they try. This is the peak of negative programming of the subconscious mind. Positive affirmations will be required to reprogram these thoughts and allow us to have positive focus. They have to be consistently repeated to the subconscious mind before they are established here.

The Unique Nature of the Subconscious Mind

The subconscious part of the mind is unable to make use of logic. It cannot think things out on its own. It basically manifests that which has been fed to it. This means that if it is constantly fed with negatives, only negative actions will result. The reverse is also true. For the successful achievement of a positive goal, the subconscious must be addressed with positive thoughts coupled with a clear visualization of what the intended result will look like. It is in this way that the subconscious will be conditioned to accept the positive affirmations to be the dominant thoughts in our minds.

Starting off with Positive Thought Affirmations

By agreeing to positive affirmations we are primarily accepting that what we believe that which we are repeating to ourselves. We all desire different types of success and therefore it should not be difficult to identify the positive affirmations that will bear success for us. Once these affirmations have been identified the next step will then be to post them to the subconscious mind. This effort requires absolute focus and this can only be possible in a most relaxed and calm situation. This is why it is advised to retreat to a secluded location to do this. Better yet is the effectiveness of reprogramming the subconscious mind during our sleep. In this moment of absolute rest there is no chance that the conscious mind will interfere with the process even slightly. As the desired effect takes root in the subconscious we will be able to get fired up and passionate about our goals. Only then can we put our desires into feasible actions that will bring success.
